I have gambled on millions of hands of blackjack. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have bet on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of money at twenty-one. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the game.

I still like the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this tactic or defeat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a match of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!

I bet with basic strategy 21. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original value.

I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a number of years back with $750 after 45 minutes using this method! And a couple of days ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.

Wager $5
Take $5 paid to you, leave the first $5 bet

Bet $5
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

Wager $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the initial ten dollar bet

Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Bet 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original $20 wager

Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the original $40 wager

Wager 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet

Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original $160 wager

If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.

If you love the thrill and adventure of a good card game and the excitement of winning and acquiring some money with the odds in your favour, playing twenty-one is for you.

So, how do you defeat the croupier?

Quite simply when playing chemin de fer you are observing the odds and chances of the cards in relation to:

1. The cards in your hand

2. What cards possibly could be dealt from the deck

When gambling on chemin de fer there is statistically a best way to play each hand and this is known as basic strategy. If you add card counting that helps you calculate the odds of cards coming out of the deck, then you are able to boost your wager size when the edge is in your favor and lower them when the edge is not.

You’re only going to succeed at under half the hands you bet on, so it is important that you adjust bet size when the risks are in your favour.

To do this when gambling on blackjack you have to use basic strategy and card counting to win.

Basic tactics and counting cards

Since mathematicians and intellectuals have been studying Blackjack all sorts of complicated systems have been developed, including "counting cards" but even though the idea is complicated card counting is all in all very easy when you bet on Blackjack.

If when betting on twenty-one you count cards correctly (even if the game uses multiple decks), you can change the odds to your favour.

Chemin de fer Basic Strategy

Chemin de fer basic strategy is assembled around a simple plan of how you wager based upon the hand you receive and is statistically the best hand to play while not card counting. It informs you when wagering on chemin de fer when you need to take another card or hold.

It is unbelievably easy to do and is before long committed to memory and up until then you can find free cards on the web

Using it when you play vingt-et-un will bring down the casino’s odds advantage to near to even.

Counting cards tilting the odds in your favour

Card counting works and players use a card counting scheme realize an edge over the casino.

The reason for this is simple.

Low cards favor the casino in twenty-one and high cards favour the gambler.

Low cards favor the dealer because they aid him make winning totals on his hands when he is stiff (has a 12, thirteen, 14, 15, or 16 total on his initial two cards).

In casino 21, you can hold on your stiffs if you choose to, but the casino can’t.

The casino has no choice to make, but you do and this is your advantage. The rules of playing blackjack require that dealers hit stiffs no matter how loaded the shoe is in high cards that will break her.

The high cards favor the gambler because they may bust the casino when he hits her stiffs and also blackjacks are made with aces and tens.

Despite the fact blackjacks are, evenly allocated between the house and the gambler, the fact is that the player gets paid more (3:2) when she gets a blackjack so the gambler has an edge.

You do not have to count the data of each of the individual card in order to know when you have an edge over the casino.

You just need to know when the shoe is rich or reduced in high cards and you can jump your bet when the expectation is in your favour.

This is a basic commentary of how card-counting schemes work, but gives you an understanding into how the logic works.

When gambling on chemin de fer over the longer term card counting will help in altering the odds in your favor by to around 2 percent.
