I have played millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have gambled on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of money at 21. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to beat the house.

I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get loaded with this method or beat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is founded on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a match of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a few years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this technique! And a couple of days ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

You need to comprehend that you can squander much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you notice wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.

Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial five dollar wager

Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of $10

Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager

Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first $20 bet

Bet 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar

Bet 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar bet

Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet

Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Wager $160
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the initial $160 bet

If you departed at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!

It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
